A troupe of world-class sand sculptors has descended on Hundested, Denmark, as the town prepares to open its 14th annual sand sculpture festival this week.

Over 60,000 visitors are expected to marvel at intricate, gravity-defying creations crafted entirely from sand and clay, all built around this year’s playful “Showtime” theme.
