In a historic first, solar power generated more electricity than any other source in the EU last month.
Solar accounted for 22.1% of the electricity mix, narrowly overtaking nuclear – and, notably, far outpacing fossil fuels.
The Netherlands and Greece were top solar record setters, while wind power also hit new highs.
