Kotka to Derry, the Finnish leg of European route E16 has been approved.

The European motorway will stretch across five countries.
The route begins in Derry, Northern Ireland, going to Belfast before connecting to Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland.
It then picks up in Bergen, Norway, crossing to Gävle on Sweden’s east coast.
The new stretch will be from Rauma on Finland’s west coast to Kotka in the southeast.
