Yodel–ay-HEEE–Oooo... Switzerland's government has put forward yodelling as a candidate for UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage.

The Swiss government says at least 12,000 yodellers take part through about 780 groups of the Swiss Yodelling Association.
