The electric cars of the Formula E racing championship can accelerate faster than Formula 1 cars and their top speeds are catching up.
Formula 1 still has a slight edge with top speeds exceeding 370 km/h. But Formula E cars already accelerate 30% faster than Formula 1, though battery capacity would let them down in a head-to-head.
