Germany wants to launch rockets from the North Sea. Bremen-based space technology group OHB has founded a subsidiary,European Spaceport Company, to build mobile and fixed launch pads on land and on ships.

The company will also build ground segments, control centres, and test facilities, as well as offer various services.
