Eva Schloss, an Auschwitz survivor who spent decades educating people about the Holocaust and was the step-sister of diarist Anne Frank, has died aged 96, her foundation said on Sunday.

Her family mourned a “remarkable woman”, praising her tireless work for remembrance, understanding and peace.
