Spain closes its airspace to aircraft involved in the Iran war, but US bases are being used in other ways.

The Spanish government is walking a tightrope: it rejects involvement in a war it deems illegal, while still contributing to the defence of Turkey and Cyprus, in keeping with its commitments to NATO and the EU.
