Hungary’s incoming prime minister, Péter Magyar, has extended an olive branch to Ukraine, proposing a June meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy aimed at mending strained ties between the neighbouring countries and addressing longstanding disputes over the rights of Ukraine’s ethnic Hungarians.
